Terry Lile Weinheimer is my full given name.  I make my home in the beautiful state of Oregon. If you are like many people the first thing you associate the name Weinheimer with is the Weimaraner dog or if you are a beer drinker you might associate it with Weinhard’s Ale. For blogging purposes I usually go by my first and middle name Terry Lile.

When it comes to modern technology from programing a cellphone, VCR or even the computer I am a non-technical person. In fact I have been called “techless” a name that has stuck for I just don’t seem to get that technical stuff. So if you want just feel free to call me Techless Terry or just plain old Terry.

July 16, 2008 I underwent laparoscopic roux-en-y gastric bypass surgery for weight loss. By the way it was a total success and the excess fat has been coming off. The decision for that surgery came as a result of years of yo yo dieting. When I started doing my research for the weight loss surgery I decided to share the information with others and started a blog called TerminalObesity.com. People hate the name “Terminal Obesity” just as they hate the term “Morbid Obesity.” The truth is that obesity kills and obese individuals are more likely to die from diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer and therefore I felt that Terminal Obesity was a fitting name. Now those that are into search engine SEO in a big way would say, “Terry, Terminal Obesity was a lousy pick for a name as few use that name in searches.” The truth is they would be right but I still like the name Terminal Obesity.

For over 50 years I have also been involved in the floor covering industry. With my broad floor covering background I started some flooring sites. These sites include, Floor Covering Central, Floor Covering Experts and Floor Central. At the floor covering sites I go by Terry Weinheimer as that is the name that I have always been known by in the flooring industry. At the flooring sites I post information to help both consumers and professionals solve floor covering problems and promote the consulting business operated by my son Kevin and myself.

I am a father and grandfather. I have helped my 9 year old grandson Seth start his own blog SethsBooks.com. I assist him in putting up information at Seths Books on things he is interested in such as science, sports and video games. It is hoped that with a little help Seth will turn this into a web-based business that will put him through college and take care of grandpa in his old age.

I am a widower that was married for 38 years. My wife Lynda passed away from complications to diabetes in 2002. In the weeks prior to her passing she wrote her life story Lynda – My Story. Lynda used a rolling walker to get around and had a dream of raising money to help those less fortunate to get a walker of their own. A while back I started developing a site My Own Angel to both feature her story and to raise charitable funds. At My Own Angel all income goes for charitable purposes. Recently I made the mistake of assuming that I had automatic renewal on the domain as is my custom with all of my domains. Unfortunately I did not and ended up losing the domain to someone else. In the near future My Own Angel will we replaced within an even better site and I will pay more attention to renewal dates.

I spend so much of my time building and managing blogs, writing articles and studying how to make money online that it seems like I have little time for playing the field. I would love to meet a woman that also has an interest in the Internet. As each day passes we get closer to the end of our life and I really need to make my love life a first priority. It would be wonderful to fall in love again. So ladies, even though I may be shy about contacting you don’t be shy about contacting me.

While I spend hours each day at the computer, I am not a very technical person. Not being a techie I chose to set up my blogs using Wordpress. Wordpress is really pretty easy to use and manage and there are a lot of great plugins for expanding it. Most everything is free and there are a lot of great free Wordpress themes. For some of my blogs I use premium themes, as I love the premium Revolution Themes that are designed by Brian Gardner.

Here at Terry Lile dot com I will share with you many of the sites that I build, the favorite tools, themes and plugins that I find for building my personal blogs. I will also share with you sites that I enjoy visiting and you may find helpful in building your own blog or business.

Sometimes I will have a link to a product and sometimes I will receive a commission if you buy that product. When you click on those ads or make a purchase I may even earn a few cents or a couple of dollars. While this may not make me rich it will certainly help to cover the expenses of my avocation “blog building.” Be assured that I will not list a product unless I am personally familiar with it and have found it to be good.
