How Do I Start A Blog – Get Free FTP Client
Those of you that are following along in this series How Do I Start A Blog may already have one or more blogs or perhaps this will be your first. If you are just now preparing to build your own blog one of the very first things you will want to do is download an FTP client to your computer. If you are a non-techie like me you may not understand all that terminology. In simple terms though an FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol and the FTP client allows the transfer of files between your computer and a remote computer. With FTP client access files such as themes, images, plugins and more can easily be transferred to the server where your blog will be hosted. When you sign up for hosting the hosting company will give you the address for the server that your blog will be hosted on.
